The whole family wanted to set this fund up in memory of a truley wonderful man. what can we say about george farrell other than he was the best husband his wife ellen could have asked for the best dad that his girls could ever have and the best granda in the world. In 2005 george was diagnosed with cancer. Since then he battled with his illness five times in five years to which the whole family are so proud of him for. He never moaned, he just got on with it dealing with whatever was thrown at him. In march this year his illness returned again, resulting in him passing away peacefully at home on the 18th june with his beloved wife and daughters by his side. Dad really was "SIMPLY THE BEST" in every sence of the word.
